Spray Foam insulation, once thought to be a good solution, was in fact causing a huge issue for this property. Due to the high risk of condensation and rotting timbers, the valuers decreased the mortgage value of the property to £0, effectively making the house worthless. This means the roof needed a better insulation solution with great thermal performance, but also something that would maximise the value of the property. Not only that, further upgrades were implemented to the roofing and guttering systems to restore the property to its full potential.On another note, this was also a very special project for us, as it is the current home of SuperFOIL leaders, William and Kate Bown.

The dad of a young man with cystic fibrosis, Chris –  contacted us as he wanted to insulate a 3x3m wooden cabin in their back garden. The cabin is used to house exercise equipment that Chris uses to ease anxiety and the symptoms of a bone condition.After a double lung transplant and issues surrounding organ rejection and infections, Chris requires constant medication and monitoring for other on-going issues including diabetes, osteoporosis and complications with his digestive system.Because he has a life expectancy of just a few more years, his family is helping him to find ways to take his mind off this and support his mental health – and one of these is an interest in exercise.

An empty space that had been left below an adventurous, architectural sundeck that had been built a number of years before. Kyle was looking to transform the space into something useful for him and his family. A new build project, with the need of insulation for the ceiling and walls.

Catherine contacted SuperFOIL due to the fact she and her family had just bought what they thought was their dream home, to later find the insulation lacking.
